10 YEAR BOTTLED IN BOND BOURBON WHISKEY

This bourbon is crafted entirely from 100% New York-grown grains and is mashed, fermented, distilled, barreled, and bottled at our distillery in Lakewood, New York.

Our first batches were distilled in the fall of 2015, then carefully aged for a decade. Well, a decade plus three days. The result is well worth the wait—this expression is our most exceptional yet, showcasing the hallmarks of a finely aged bourbon: deep complexity, a rich and silky mouthfeel, refined oak character, and a long, warming finish. Notes of dark fruit, toasted spice, leather, and vanilla unfold with each sip, offering a full sensory experience that bourbon aficionados truly appreciate.

WHY 100 PROOF?

We could have bottled this at a lower proof. Instead, we decided to keep as much of the richness that 10 years have contributed to the liquid and make it Bottled in Bond. To be labeled Bottled-in-Bond, we must meet the standards set forth in 1897. This is the highest quality standard for aged bourbon in the country, a mark that the whiskey was produced by a single distillery during a single distilling season, aged for a minimum of four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at 100 proof with no additives other than pure water. That is some achievement, especially for a small craft distiller like Southern Tier Distilling Co.
