New York is known for many things, but farming is one of the most important. Local agriculture sustained our forefathers and raised their spirits, and it continues to do so today. For more than 300 years, distilleries have dotted the state, often creating whiskey from winter rye that is as resilient as the people who live here.
WHAT IS EMPIRE RYE?
Crafted under the standards of the Empire Rye Whiskey Association. Empire Rye puts a twist on a typical rye whiskey as we barreled this fine liquid at just 115 proof. Beginning of course with 100% New York grown grains that were mashed, fermented, distilled, barreled and bottled at our distillery in Lakewood, New York.
